Not long ago, the University of Saskatchewan installed a new sign outside of the renovated Place Riel Student Centre. Today, I saw people modifying the sign.

The Genetically Modified Mermaid's base was covered with snow, and so was the lower part of the quay. The water hasn't frozen (yet) because of the incessant and annoying high winds for days on end. Note one of the frogmen approaching the Mermaid.
Decided today was a good day to use the real cloche I got for christmas. So I made some modified baguette dough, main difference being some whole wheat, to shape into a boule and cook in the cloche.
