Just a modified version of my already existing Panzer 4, All I had to change was the back crane thing and make an indent on the top to replace the turret with a flak 88. Fun little modification turned out great!

Recently I got some new Gold Paint so i put it to use on my custom LEGO Flash And My Custom Lego Red Robin (He Isn't Done)

Midge hell but loved spending the time watching the sun dip and the colours of the sky change. I scoped out this vantage point earlier in the evening as I was wanting something in the foreground to help balance the composition but the inevitable swarms of midges love the water and attacked me if I stood still for even a moment. © Stuart McMillan 2015 Do not use/modify without my authorisation.

So I spot this unit and I'm getting a photo of this, in Barr Lake area there's no over night parking..

It appears to have a mix of features that make it somewhat difficult to absolutely pinpoint what year model it is. (See my notes that I’ve placed within the photo above for the various features.) I suppose that a quick look at its VIN would yield a solid answer, at least from the legal standpoint.

The back of the same Corvette exhibits features that are curious if not a bit confused. The Year of Manufacture (YOM) plate indicates 1963 as the model year presumably in agreement with the car’s VIN. Yet the most obvious identifying features of a 1963 Corvette - the split backlite and two decorative vent grilles on the hood - do not appear on this car. Furthermore, the 1963-1964 Corvettes feature two horizontal indentations located aft of the wheel opening in the front fender, not the three vertical openings on this car. The hood that features the wide bulge was a feature that became available from 1965-on only for the models with the Big Block V-8 engines such as the 396 and 427.

Another lightly modified frame by SuspendedAnimation. The Thermal Energy Rifle has been equipped with a canister style power source, rather than tethered directly to the frame. Although this limits the ability for uninterrupted firing, it allows the weapon to be carried by most frames.

Modified cups and canals from the Roc de la Femnas. Typical neolithic/chalcolithic cups and canals can be seen in the foreground with other formations behind. It seems that these have been 'added to' in recent years and that the roundness of edges and forms have been squared. There is a vague mention in a paper in the "Cahiers d'archéologie Aveyronnaise" No22 of a shepherd with metal tools perhaps effecting the shape of elements from a date prior to 1935.

Square holes can be seen inside of the Dolmen de Menga and squared elements exist for the Stonehenge construction. Square holes exist inside and around some of the late neolithic 'boat havens' (hypogée) of Fontvieilles. Squared holes tend to imply modern hardened metal tools, but if a site was in continuous use into the bronze age (copper is just not very hard) or even the iron age, then there is a chance that the elements are old and from the original cultural chronology. Some softer stones may also work into square edges with stone tools (Sardinian examples of stone work). In short, even if the scenario of a local shepherd, or recent stone mason is the dominant 'raison d'etre' for most squared elements, the sight of squared elements should not induce automatic responses.

Anyway back to yesterday, I had to go to the tip to get rid of a microwave that went pop pop crackle fizzzz crackle bang! As per usual i was over dressed wearing this number, Didn't need a hi viz jacket though so that's a plus point. Did get some looks from the guys, i think they were confused because they wanted to help but couldn't lol

I just had to struggle on my own with the microwave.

Didn't really take any photos at home as my daughter had her boyfriend over and it is a bit strange taking photos with him around. Instead he had to put up with me pottering around getting in the way

Lego did a pretty good job, but there were some details I wanted to change:

- mask is now a actual piece, not just a print

- new head, without mask printing

- chrome silver arm (printing is photoshopped from the original figure's printing)

(unfortunately there is still no chrome silver hand yet)
