Oh well, I finally modified the fightstick.
It now has a
Sanwa JLF with octagonal restrictor
Seimitsu Buttons, black ones are Madcatz
Seimitsu Bubbletop knob
I can't say I really like the feel of the Seimitsu buttons, I am now used to the very light touch required for the Sanwa buttons. Also pulled apart one of the Madcatz buttons when removing one of the connectors.

When modifying the original model from Lego set 8089 the aim was to preserve playability, not to make a model for exhibitions. That's why I kept the rope and built a gun that could hold the hook.
