Neue Wohnungen auf der Halbinsel Stralau
En parfumerieën. Kapsalon op de Leidsegracht in Amsterdam, een tijdcapsule uit de jaren vijftig. In de etalage portretten van onder meer een jonge Wim Sonnevelt, een jonge Ko van Dijk, Guus Verstraete sr. en nog een aantal coryfeeën uit de tijd van de zwartwit-tv en de stoomradio - allen keurig gekapt, dat spreekt vanzelf.
Located in the City Club Hotel in Manhattan, db Bistro Moderne is a “knockout” French bistro with “swift, cordial” service and a sophisticated setting.
A room illuminated by UV-lights in Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich. This room once was made for the documenta in Kassel.

Union Station was partially designed by John Parkinson and Donald B. Parkinson (the Parkinsons) who had also designed Los Angeles City Hall and other landmark Los Angeles buildings. They were assisted by a group of supporting architects, including Jan van der Linden. The structure combines Dutch Colonial Revival architecture (the suggestion of the Dutch-born Jan von der Linden), Mission Revival, and Streamline Moderne style, with architectural details such as eight-pointed stars.
Part of the extension to the Essex County Hospital, the nurses home. Built 1932 by Duncan, Clarke and Beckett, square but some little moderne touches to it. Currently disused.

I got a new camera this week and was testing it out while on one of my walks around the neighborhood.
It's a Panasonic DMC-ZS10. It's a nice upgrade from my Panasonic DMC-TZ3.
