Moderated by WLT editor in chief Daniel Simon, the roundtable discussion featured Lydie Moudileno, Dominic Thomas, and Michael Winston. Immediately following the roundtable students from OU’s Department of Modern Languages, Literatures & Linguistics did a bilingual reading of some of Alain Mabanckou's poems.

 

Alain Mabanckou, the 2016 Puterbaugh Fellow, delivered his keynote lecture, “The Song of the Migrating Bird: For a World Literature in French.”
