With 6 seats, this Depot Hack Model T is sure to provide plenty of utility. Furthering this rugged simplicity is a lack of opening doors. Black paint and plenty of wood make for an attractive combination. The vehicle was first issued Netherlands registration in 1981 and today carries a modern registration card.

An amazing reproduction of the original car built by John Geraghty and co-owned by John Crawford. This one was built by Dave Shuten and the crew at Galpin Auto Sports. It has a blown 480" '57 Olds engine like the original. This was a display at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show. The original car was the basis of the Monogram model car kit called the Green Hornet that every kid my age had to have (I still have one).

The Model T appeared on the market in 1908. It was affordable, sturdy and was enormously successful : more than 15 million units were produced between 190 and 1927. Ford built its factories close to its clients, and one of its first European factories was set-up in Antwerp in 1922. This car was acquired by Ghislain Many in 1944, and was the first car of his collection.

The car that put the world on wheels. Designed by under Childe Harold Wills production began in 1908 for the 1909 model year. A true world car the Model T was built in Detroit, Michigan, USA, Trafford Park, Manchester, England. Berlin, Germany. Copenhagen, Denmark. Sao Bernardo, Brazil and Buenos Aires, Brazil. Discounting the Specials, the Coachbuilt models and the trucks the T was built in at least 13 different body styles They are not all black between 1908-14 and 1926-27 other colours were available. Cost in 1909 $ 850 (eqv. today $ 20,513) but due to the increasing efficiency of line production the cost despite inflation had fallen in the 1920's to $ 290 (eqv. £ 3,259) In 2002 a small batch of six Model T were produced to mark Ford'centenary.

This ambulance bodied model T is typical of many used in active service, to transport the wounded away from the front lines and back to the dressing stations. Often they were donated by way of individuals and societies, or by way of public collections, Henry Ford was a pacifist and ruled that any Fords used on the battlefield, could only be for ambulance use . This vehicle has been featured in a number of TV roles, including The Village and in Crimson Fields amongst other productions.

Henry Ford (US, 1863-1947) founded a car manufacturing company in Detroit, Michigan in 1903. After a few less successful models Model N (1906-1908) became very popular. But this success was far surpassed by the Model T which was for sale from October 1908.

The first Model T cars were still assembled by hand. Between 1910 and 1914 Henry Ford developed and improved an industrial production line which saved time and employees to produce a car within 93 minutes in 1914. Soon it became world wide known and a standard in mass production of cars.

Model T was designed by Childe Harold Wills (US, 1878-1940) and engineers Joseph A. Galamb (Hungary, 1881-1955) and Eugene Farkas (Hungary, 1881-1963).

Carrying a robust, attractive wooden body and rows of bench seating, this Model T has more than enough space to tour around with many passengers. The remaining body work is finished in traditional black and additional lamps have been placed on either side of the wind screen. The vehicle was first issued Netherland's registration in 1979 and today carries a modern registration card.

I've enjoyed this car for quite a while, for it's simplicity and lack of expensive bits. Just a really sweet drive.

not much wear left on this old tire and wheel, I believe this is the rear end of a old model T ?

I had the pleasure of seeing a good handful of Model T's last week during the Model T Ford Winter Tour. Wishing the weather had been a little sunnier for more light catching ops, happy nonetheless to have seen some greatly cared for T's!

From one of our family albums, a sepia photo of several family members posing in the family car, a Model-T Ford. Presumably the car was relatively rare, so posing with it was a big deal at that time, as it would be today, ironically!

This would have been taken circa 1916, somewhere in Victoria, B.C., Canada; probably on Cornwall Street in the Fairfield neighbourhood.

Photographed at Lions Head, Bruce County, Ontario in 1916 is a new Ford Model T Touring. Parked outside the local church with four well dressed for Sunday gentlemen. One might wonder if they are going in for the service or not. The lack of pavement and poor roads made for a very dirty looking new car at the time. This is a Canadian built Ford from the Walkerville (now a part of Windsor) Ontario Ford Plant.
