Tuesday 28th 17ºC sunWelcome meeting with Dan; usual stuff; selling tours. Booked Discovery Marrakech; whole day (latter concelled; we decided to discover it ourselves!).After a very good lunch we took a taxi from the hotel rank for 80dh (dirhams) to the main square -Jemaa el fina - and into the souks. Money for every photo. 60; 000 stalls. Tourist part - leather goods; metalware; jewelry; scarves; rugs; pottery; spices; perfumes. In the square - snake charmers; performing monkeys; caleches for hire; tattooing; crushing henna etc. etc. Cats everywhere.Petit taxi back. Changed tour to Atlas mountain day as we can do Marrakech ourselves.Excellent buffet; completely new menu. Met Wallace and Pam - farmer from Middleton Cheney – delightful people.Weary.
