A model from the architecture department of the NĂ¡rodnĂ technickĂ© muzeum in Prague. Building of the National Theatre (NĂ¡rodnĂ divadlo) in Prague was started in 1867. It was designed by architect Josef ZĂtek, It took until 1881 before the theatre was opened. Two months later a large fire destroyed parts of the building. In 1883 the building was reopened.
