Shot in a local hotel room known for its eclectic room decor.
Shot with Canon EOS 6D and Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM lens with a weird mix of natural light through the windows, LED room lighting, and a couple of random softboxes one of the photogs brought.
I made a visit with my sister and a cousin on the afternoon of December 31, 2012 to the Ypsilanti Auto Heritage Collection, informally known as "The Last Hudson dealership". The museum owner's father sold Hudsons here until the marque ceased production.
Maybe my portrait shots for now is to experience my new lens. I need to familiarized with the setting and what it can do. So here is a girl with a flower crown.
I DO NOT OWN THIS PIC - I pulled this image from the net & or different blogs. The photography is very inspiring...and yes the model is hot.
The Ford Model T was one of the earliest mass production vehicles. It was manufactured from 1908 through 1927 and was an international success. In fact, LEGO founder Ole Kirk Christiansen owned a Model T, which he used to deliver his early wooden toys.
I based my MOC off of the 1912 model, with a few creative liberties taken. For example, the car has a chassis that is far from an exact representation; I just wanted to add some silver bits underneath.
Another goal was to bring LEGO Friends into the early 20th Century. This car is actually a part of a much larger MOC that will be professionally photographed. Stay tuned...
Voici le compte rendu en image de l'exposition qui a eu lieu à Montceau les mines les 27 & 28 septembre 2014.
Tilt-shift effect on this image taken from the Old Fort overlooking Corfu Town, Greece.
I took this photo with this exact effect in mind. It just seemed to fit perfectly.
There is a village called Curepipe on the island of Mauritius (off the East coast of Africa) that specializes in the manufacture of these model ships. This specimen about 60 cm long. It has travelled the world with us over the last 30 years or so.
The blue water has been added by me.
This model is based on an article by Iain C Robinson in the May 1978 issue of Railway Modeller magazine, "Low Relief Signal Box". That article (p.147) refers to another in the October 1962 issue "Lean-to Signal Box at Wolsingham, NER". The 1978 article includes drawings of the construction of the model, and two photographs.
