Por que estás triste Susi. Primer Premio - Concurso Nacional de Fotografía - (Falset - Tarragona - Cataluña ) Tema Libre.
Why are you sad Susi. First Prize - National Photography (Falset - Tarragona - Catalonia) Contest - Free Theme
Castellano:

This photo I have a great appreciation for because with it I won for the first time a "FIRST NATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY PRIZE". In the town of Falset (Tarragona - Catalonia) in 1973.
Being present during the ruling, I saw how they selected her from the ones that would be awarded, going from third place to second, from second to first, then to second, and after a long deliberation, they moved her to first place .... yes ... yes !
So I won my first prize, with total satisfaction that ... for me, it was like having a son at 21 years old.
Analog photography, taken with an Asahi Pentax reflex Spotmatic camera, with a 135 mm Pentax Super Takumar fixed lens.
I used Kodak TriX 400 Asa film manipulated to 800 Asa to obtain this grain so remarkable that few knew how to do it at that time and that it would enhance photography.
Taking into account that after all this manipulation, in addition, when making the enlargement on paper, the photograph should not be focused, no, the grain of the film should be focused with a special magnifying glass, in order to make it very defined.
This grain is the silver halides of the film emulsion, (it is not digital noise).
This photo with so much love that I have, I dedicate it to all my friends on Flickr.
Ask enough bees to stand on top of a flower and pose for a picture and you will finally find one that will.

Made from plaster and having been used by arts students for many years as models for painting and sculpturing. I am continuing this by trying out new cameras and/or lenses. Leica M Mono, Voigtlander CS 2.2/50 at F11 (manual focus).
On the Photokina 2016 Fuji invited many of their ambassadors to give a one hour workshop. One of them was Trevor Yerburny. If you google him, you wil find out that he is a great artist. In his workshop about portrait photography he showed his theory on a beautiful model. What he did with one studiolight and before a black background, I tried to do without. Thank you mr. Yerburny for your excellent lecture ... and model.
Foto del verano.... queda algo lejos la verdad... sobre todo viendo aún la nieve restante de estos días por la ventana.

Was asked to take some stills for a conference brochure. These are two 3D hearts our company modeled and than printed.
Model: Arine Soem

The contrast between the bright gold tones at Arine compared to the beautiful dark brown tones in the background really appeals to me.
In this shoot I tried out my latest backdrop, in which certain color tones in the backdrop repeat themselves.
In the coming period I will look for more options.
But I'm at peace with this photo.
As soon as Mario and I managed to find each other in the crowded center of Milan, we walked around looking for a good spot: I think Mario did see the beautiful Lera and Anastasia and I did go and approach them: at first they both were ok with posing, but a bit surprised and uncomfortable, but a few shots later they both enjoyed the experience and helped us with strong expressions. If I recall correctly, Mario suggested to take advantage of the cigarette and use it for the frame and, at some point I think Mario also helped with the reflector.
It took me a while to get proper control of the situation: thankfully Lera is an experienced model and was really great and helpful!
I got quite a few good shots, but I think the gaze in this one is pretty strong.
I had the chance to have a talk both with Lera and Anastasia and we spoke about their experience in Italy and about the beautiful Russia: Anastasia suggested I should go and see Moscow.
This definitely was a good start for a great day with Mario!
Thank you so much Lera: it was really fun taking pictures of you and wish you all the best!!!

I wonder what she's thinking...
I have an 80 year old photographer as a mentor, and since the pool we were using was near his condo, he dropped in. Frank is a retired veteran of photography, so when he is on the scene, I like to get him to help. Frank's specialty was photographing women, and his nickname was Hef, so, well, he is quite at home working with a swimsuit model. I forgot to tell him that Page had some reservations about looking like she fell out of a Playboy magazine. So I thought she might be a bit hesitant when he was coaching her in cleavage enhancing poses like this one. But the professional that Page is, she never wavered, and even looks like she is having some fun.
She's probably thinking - "My boyfriend's really going to like this."
