In this photo I used the exit of a building. I am standing on the inside and he is on the outside, where only the left and right side comes with light that can be varied with.
The left light has the function as fill light and to emphasize the profile of the face, while the light of the right side emphasizes the jaw line.
Strobist: key beauty dish up high, fill strobe with medium soft box below. two strip lights on each side of the model.

BP promotional Corgi Toy tankers from the 1980s. I was often working a BP sites in the late 80s, early 90s an quite often they would be being re-imaged while I was there
The model on the right was made in Great Britain and shows the older style, the model on the left was made in China and shows the newer "greening" style
