The banana pie prep board is something I made, but I wanted to have a fairy perched onthe piecrust, like she was helping. Maizie is a Brownie fairy after all, and likes to do little housekeeping duties such as baking & cooking.

Here is a wolf miniature wolf mask I made from clay, I added magnesium oxide to it and melted glass to give it effect.

When work did not leave me enough time to make my bunting dream a reality last week, I found I actually could not sleep. And the reality has not disappointed. I am so delighted with my matchboxes full of miniature bunting. See my profile for details of where to find this :)

She said they make good housepets.

Was tempted to get one.

Was also tempted to talk of PRETERISM- which is TRUE CHRISTIANITY

The following is an excerpt from a letter written by Jim Hampton to the John Goodall for MEW magazine, October 9, 1995.

“The mounting lugs and the tiny bevel gear tell us the engine is of the type that was developed by members of the Victoria Model Steamer Club. The Victoria Club was probably the foremost club in the world at that time and it was there the IC engine first challenged and beat the then dominant steamers. The engines were mounted horizontally in the hull with the crankshaft vertical, starting being accomplished with a suitable key. The flywheel pointed downward in the hull where the tiny bevel gear meshed with a similar gear on the long propeller shaft which ran under the engine.”

I've been playing around with simple tilt shift miniatures. I used tiltshiftmaker.com and blogged about it here: buildmakecraftbake.com/2009/05/make-your-photos-look-like...

First time I see these very small wild flowers. They were growing on the forest floor in a large patch. No idea what its name is.

Out for a walk this afternoon with my wonderful little Canon s95 and decided to bust out the ‘miniature’ mode for another go.

It definitely works best for an elevated spot, with a little action going on, and the first spot I came across as I powered along was the new park area at Southbank, which is proving pretty popular – a great place to sit on the grass and take in the wonderful weather that we’ve got at this time of year (almost start of spring)

These are my favourite Goblins. They are nasty!

I was making our way from NYC to Memphis. I found Central Park then.

This one is in the Cameron Highlands, uh, really? or maybe in my hobby room?

Most of this items have been handcrafted. This is one of my favorite mini rooms!

I made these miniature Raggedies. They are less than 2 inches tall in their sitting positions. They are all cloth and their thread hair is rooted. Next time I want to make their arms and legs floppy so they are more like full sized Raggedy dolls.

This is a rather uncommon variety of lilac in that it grows quite slowly and neatly. After about 15 years growing in the garden it is still only about 5ft high.

The flowers are highly scented.

(Sometimes called Korean Lilac it is in fact Syringa meyeri 'Palibin')
