This is a three piece compass necklace I made for Kim for Christmas 2011. Remove the cork and pin. Fill the necklace with water and put the cork in. The metal is magnetized and should point toward the center/top of the necklace.
May she never lose her way home.

Miniature Clown Doll (1" scale dollhouse)
1 1/4" high in a sitting position With a wooden, hand-painted face, Red cotton cloth outfit, stiffened for a sitting position and curly thread hair.
Arms and legs are durable, but not bendable.
Another tiltshift: This small natural gas plant is near Moose Mountain, just West of Bragg Creek, Alberta.
My first attempt at "miniature" photography. I'm clueless about the whole thing so I'm not even sure if this is how it's supposed to look, but I like it.
The eyes and the teeth are sculpted and finished in polymer clay then added in the sculpting of the head.
direct sculpting no molds used.

I am a fan of Sam from "Daily dose of Imagery" (see his pictures from my contact page on flickr. He is "wvs"). He has done a number of amazing photos in which the picture look like it is in miniature. I thought I'd have a go using photoshop but need to get some more advice how to improve this technique
