In de Bergkerk in Deventer was de afgelopen weken de tentoonstelling Dickens in miniature. En omdat ik van Roy hoognodig weer eens foto's moest plaatsen, ben ik vandaag maar even op pad gegaan :-).
Met Hans (Snah51) heb ik wel eens discussies over HDR. Vanmiddag heb ik hier toch ook maar eens gebruik van gemaakt. Het zijn maar drie foto's, maar ik vond het hier erg bruikbaar. Toch maar eens vaker proberen ;-).
NB achtergrond is bewerkt en in HDR software is gekozen voor "Fine structure"
Free sculpted stoneware clay. Painted with oxides, underglazes and glazes. Fired in a kiln.

How to wreck a great photo op! [Take 2] After the flash was a little too much, tried without (in a dark barn) with an awful colour cast, did some modification of the hues to get this from a very dark photo...
I still like the overall photo though, such a great moment
And by the way... This is Riley with a Miniature Donkey in the barns at the Calgary Stampede, it's actually a friend's donkey though

I have had this for about 4 or 5 years and while it doesn't look great without flowers it does get a few nice ones every year.

Miniature Lupine (Lupinus bicolor) a/k/a Bicolored Lupine. North Table Mountain. Near Oroville, Butte Co., Calif.
Miniature astronauts are seated inside a miniature Saturn V that is next to a partially real one. The first stage of the Saturn V in the background is a test article, not flight hardware, but that is more real than the miniature one. Cool to see some of the innards with the help of the miniature, though.
The crowd is waiting for the launch of a Falcon Heavy rocket that took place two and half hours after this was taken.
