this is a edited view from the "Luegisland-Turm" on Lucerne, Switzerland
I saw this in a local shop and thought how good it would look with a display of miniatures inside.
In the meantime it is housing the left over mini Alice in Wonderland books from the Hay on Wye project.
These will be turned into miniature book stacks shortly
A number of 7 1/4" and 5" gauge vertical boilered locomotives operated on a temporary line throughout the weekend. Two 7 1/4" locos are seen here topping and tailing the train.
Here is a 1/12th scale dollhouse miniature dinner scene Sarah of Northern Miniatures. This is in 1/12th scale and aside from the dishes, is made completely from polymer clay. Pictured are green beans, ham and mashed potatoes with gravy.
Miniature “art boards” that I created! It is a print of a lovely antique tapestry that is decoupaged on chipboard. I painted the edges with an antique gold.
It would be a lovely addition to your dollhouse or miniature room box!
It could also be used as a Barbie accessory!

One of our hens is lying these miniature eggs! They are all full size, mature hens, and this is a new thing. It's a bit of a mystery to me. Any chicken owners know what could be going on??? We do have one hen that is about 5 years old, maybe it's her? Anyway, made for a good shot for the monthly hunt :)
Taken at the Yokohama Quilt Show 2014. In the "Miniature Quilt" section which had the theme of "stars". Each quilt measures 20x20cm.
First off, I definitely apologize for the not so great quality of the photos--my camera is definitely on its way out.
This little cutie is the quilt created just for me by Suzanne Hayes (CaryQuilter) in the Swap Til You Drop group for the June exchange of Anything Goes. It has fabrics in burgandies, rose, black, gold, cream and tan. The blocks are itty bitty pieced crazy quilt blocks with a black mottled sashing fabric and burgandy binding. Suzanne used a miniature decorative stitch for quilting and I think that is the perfect finishing touch for this little beauty!
