I made this little blank book as a demonstration of sewing with a four-hole French stitch. The paper used was off-cuts of Arches wove text and the cover is Roma handmade over boards. It measures 1 3/16" wide by 1 3/8" high.
This tiny mug is only 4 cm (or 1.5 in) high. I can only fit the very tip of my little finer in the handle.
Some work later, the leather is folded around the boards and spine, and then "filled in" with some extra card and leather to keep the thickness of the leather from making the final product irregularly thick.

A rainbow layered pastry, known as lapis sagu or kueh lapis. A traditional favourite in the South-east Asia. :)
This treat brings back waves of childhood memories, of me peeling the layers off neatly and rolling them up before popping it in my mouth.
Traditionally, the top layer is always red, although I have yet to discover why.
Available in the store. (check my profile!)

Very tiny miniature red rose, only about 1 1/4 inches (3.25cm) across at most, not a normal size rose. Very shallow DOF, focus on center right petal. Only about 6 inches off of the ground as the small bush these grow on is very short.
First finished miniature for my Void Siren Dreadball team. Just a very quick job so I can get the boardgame pieces painted up fast.

My friend Dave scanned these stat cards for some of the Dungeons & Dragons miniatures he got at the DDXP convention. Probably only of interest to fellow nerds. :)
These tiny pots are made by the fine woodturning artist Glenn Krueg. Joe and I found them at a gallery in Mendocino called The Highlight Gallery. Aren't they lovely! Featuring real flowers and plants. Those tiny purple flowers make me so happy!
Shown with Alisha, my 12" porcelain Paperwhite Doll. Temporary makeup by me.
The other day I found a box of cardboard heat-seal 35mm slide mounts and an old custom built slide mounting press. I wondered if it still worked and if so, how I might put it to good use. It occurred to me that I could do miniature paintings and frame them in slide mounts as a novelty. They might make interesting business cards.
