The remains of the second miniature railway that has operated in Fleetwood crossing a footpath opposite Carr Road in the Marine Gardens. Thursday 09 May 2013.
The 15" gauge line opened in 1975 and closed in 1982. It commenced at the northerly end of Promenade Road near the Marine Hall Gardens and ran in a westerly direction along the north side of the miniature golf course. From Dronsfield Road it ran adjacent to the Outer Promenade past the boating pool, the model yacht pond and the paddling pool to a point opposite Beach Road east of Rossall Point.
