Here's my large and cool medium-size pulls from a case of Dungeon of Dread miniatures. I'm glad I got the Eye of Flame, Champion of Baphomet and Oni. I would've liked to have gotten the Young Silver Dragon, Runecarved Eidolon and Ettin Jack-of-Irons.

The Rhyl Miniature Railway (Welsh: Rheilffordd Fach y Rhyl) is a 15 in (381 mm) gauge miniature railway line located in Rhyl on the North Wales Coast. The line runs in a circle around a boating lake near the promenade, to the west of the town centre. The railway is operated by Rhyl Steam Preservation Trust a Registered charity.
The railway has a long association with one type of locomotive, a class of six one-third scale 4-4-2 tender engines built by Albert Barnes & Co of Rhyl.
This works as a miniature. The setup is again fairly simple and the people are nicely contrasted. It is also very colorful which I like. On the other hand, I don't think it works as a photo generally. Frankly, I have no idea why anyone would want to look at it. When I took the photo I thought that the action at the counter and the people at the computer stations might be intesting. But it doesn't translate well.
Miniature World: The Greatest Little Show on Earth
While walking past Miniature World in Victoria, BC, I wondered if I could achieve a tilt-shift effect on an already miniaturized world by getting really, really close with my 16-35mm f/4 lens.
The f/4 gives me an already shallow DOF, and getting really close to anything decreases that DOF exponentially. The 16mm lens on my full frame Nikon is ultrawide, so I can get the entire scene in even when only inches from the model.
Turns out I could actually have gone with a smaller aperture, f/6.3 or even f/7.1, and still kept the focus tight on the man reading the paper while dropping the grannies out of focus. That capability gives me a wide range of potential subjects in every scene. The next time, I'll try a shot with the grannies in focus and the man blurred out, to see how I can change the feeling of the photograph.

On our travels to the Catskills for hikes, we've passed a farm right along the road that has a sort of "petting zoo" right off the road complete with a parking lot, updates on new additions, etc. Well, we finally stopped last June after a hike and so glad we did!! We saw this cutie along with many other creatures:).

A miniature horse is a breed or type of horse characterised by its small size. Usually it has been bred to display in miniature the physical characteristics of a full-sized horse, but to be little over 100 cm in height, or even less.
Painted fresh off the factory floor in Dal'yth colours. I experimented with decals for the first time on this bird, but they fell off :/
These horses are about the size of a dog and very cute.
Another road on the way home is Lakeville Highway. This ranch has 100s of miniature horses. Always wanted to stop and take photos. Finally had the opportunity.
