It was interesting to see the various stages of nest construction amongst this colony of Metallic Starling. Some pairs had obviously completed their nests some time ago & were busily feeding young, whilst some, like this particular bird, were only just starting.
Fascinating to see how much effort is put into securing the nest around multiple branches, anchored by dozens of stringy bark, sticks & vines.
Chinese blessings intricately woven into two entwined metallic snakes that form the character “福” (Blessing) display at The Shoppes @ Marina Bay Sands for the Chinese New Year festival.

Some modern metallic creations in the centre of Yeovil in Somerset. The words on the base read 'Labore et Industria' which in Latin means Labour and Industry. Maybe a tribute to those in the town that worked in the aircraft and defence industries, the largest of which was Westland Aircraft which was located in the town.

1980 Mercedes-Benz 300CD Coupe Diesel **Extremely Rare** Inca Red Metallic with Palomino MB-Tex. According to a recent issue of Mercedes Enthusiast, only 658 Mercedes-Benz cars were ever painted in Inca Red Metallic. Not 658 diesels, but in all models of Mercedes-Benz. This color is very rare. A mere 70,000 original miles since new with every documented receipt, two owners, 100% original paint, sunroof, ...she runs like a dream. Very fast for a non-turbo. The history of this car validates why it is one of the best coupes I have ever seen. It's truly remarkable. A near perfect car if there is such a thing. (She's almost finished...)

There are plenty of metallic beetles, but I had never seen a metallic weevil before. Definitely one of my faves!

I painted the background in metallic silver with white, added images and used a black Stabillo pencil and gold pen for detail.
This young woman was with a group of friends, but she had by far the best suit -- sparkly silver! She dove in and swam around in the rough water. I complimented her on her swimming and awesome suit.
