Regular KLM flights sometimes brought aircraft in VIASA and Philippine Airlines colours to Riem, like PH-DTG on this occasion. PH-DTG was also seen at Riem the day before (15 April 1978), but otherwise I have no report of PH-DTG (or YV-134C) at Munich's old airport.

PH-DTG apparently was delivered in VIASA colours and never wore KLM colours (source: EHAM historical movements thread on the scramble messageboard).

Information from flickr - thanks to heathrow junkie:

c/n 46556 - McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30 was delivered new to KLM as PH-DTG in April 1974, leased to Viasa Venezuela in 1977, and then sold to the airline in 1978 and re-registered as YV-134C. The aircraft flew with the airline for 20 years before being sold to Iberia as EC-GTB. Just two years later, in 2000, the aircraft flew back to the USA into storage, finally being broken up at Miami - Opa Locka in 2006.

A mythical figure from Okotan legend who was said to have an eternal hunger for souls. After the villagers started to protect their souls with masks, she had to resort to riddles and trickery.

I took this series of pictures in 2002. They're small because it wasn't a great camera, but I've always liked them anyway... A couple years ago I posted them on a messageboard for a few people, and since then I still occasionally see them pop up as livejournal icons and on fan pages.

Kualus is one of the Rahaga from 2005 who never saw release in toa form like Norik and Iruini did. Like Norik and Iruini, he has a metru body and armour in a metallic colour, as well as some modern parts for the mask, weapons and breastplate given that, if he were ever released as a set, he might well have had new moulds for those parts. Rhotuka spinner can fire, and his spear can be used as a flute. Jet-wings and general owl/avian aesthetic because Kualus really, really, really likes birds.

The Smoke Hawk is a canon rahi that hasn't had much love. Perhaps it's an animal companion, or just a lost fledgling Kualus is nursing back to health. I loved the Lhikan and Kikkanalo set and this follows the same idea.

A warrior of ancient Okotan myth, who battled evil with the power of starlight. Her bow could call down stars from the sky.

This one is a combination of Skull Scorpio and the Kopaka + Melum Unity Set. She has a working gearbox and several other features. More about her on the TTV Messageboards here!

I belong to a Lomo and toycamera enthusiasts group called Lomomanila and last Saturday, we had an activity called the Holga Witch Project -- a toy camera shoot with costumed models (mostly friends/volunteers).

We went around UP and took shots of them. My main camera that day was a Holga. But my prints aren't ready yet.

For the first time, my LCA took a backseat to the Holga. I just figured it's about time I played with the H more. I hope to God that I got at least ONE nice Holga shot.

In the meantime, here are my LCA shots (Fuji Sensia 100 slide film xpro). These are my favorites from the roll.

Driving on the feeder ramp between US-69 and Quivira Rd along westbound I-435, approaching the onramp and noticing the message on the KC Scout sign board warning of approaching blizzard conditions in the metro.

Thankfully, it was just raining and slightly sleeting while I was driving and roads were still warm enough not to freeze. However, less than an hour after this photo was taken snow started falling in this part of Johnson County.

Spotted this on the roadside today. It's a sad state of affairs when we need giant glowing billboards to remind us of common sense, but here we are. A stark, digital reality check for the distracted driver.

There is a delicious, bureaucratic irony in a sign that says, "Don't look at screens!" while effectively demanding, "Look at this screen!" It’s the road safety equivalent of "Quiet Please" being shouted through a megaphone. You’re forced to choose between being a safe driver and being an informed one.

The irony of requiring drivers to stare at a screen to learn why they shouldn't stare at screens.

I assume I got mentioned in a messageboard somewhere today? I've gotten a bunch of new views mostly spaceship earth. Send me a link. I always like seeing my stuff being discussed

I just added the second cross section. It goes E-W looking south. The entrance to the ride is at the bottom center. I also added black to the bottom section so it's clearer what's space and what's structure.

This set is fun and colorful. A rainbow of colors in the pattern of stripes is the theme. Some of the colored lines are shinny. They would make a cute little gift for someone or as a party favor.

This set includes 4 silver bottle caps that measure 1 1/4". The paper used for these magnets has been up-cycled from a greeting card.

After greeting Dean the plumber, I set off for London. Met a walking colleague quite randomly on Stoke station who was working in London, so we arranged to meet up later. Arrived in London after a pleasant relaxed journey on the London Midland stop at every station service and took on coffee in the St Pancras YHA while I waited for the 2pm check-in. That done, I made my way over to Tate Modern where I took in the pictured “Red Star Over Russia” exhibition of communist propaganda posters. Again, quite randomly I bumped into a lovely internet acquaintance who I know through the Richard Hawley messageboard and Facebook, in the museum shop! Next it was the Modigliani exhibition which was excellent and included an amazing virtual reality experience which placed you in his studio. Then, deciding to avoid the Tube at rush hour I walked along the South Bank and crossed the bridge to St Paul’s - made my way towards Fleet Street and up Chancery Lane (where the opening of Dickens’ “Bleak House” is set) to High Holborn. Caught the Tube to King’s Cross then dropped my Communist poster books in my room at the YHA before meeting up with friend Mike in an Islington pub where we wined and dined and watched the footy. Back to the YHA and job done. Tomorrow I’ve got the morning in London, a trip up north to Holmes Chapel for a meal, then a train trip back south. 2018 is pretty busy so far...

Following-up a tip-off on a local messageboard (thanks Ray) I found a large number of buses and coaches packed into a small secure compound beneath the M56 Clifton Viaduct over the River Weaver near Frodsham in Cheshire.

The ground conditions and weather made decent photos impossible but I managed to get three Scarborough & District open top double deckers in this shot - 895 (165 DKH), 896 (A10 EYO) and 897 (897 EYX). There was at least two more S & D open toppers, one of which was 892 I think.

These reg marks subsequently transferred to the replacement open toppers for 2012 season, so does anyone know what reg plates these buses recieved in lieu?i

Look at this way, at this speed, all those drivers around you that are trying to multi-task, as dangerous as that is, are less likely to crash into you.

Lovely idea, can't be easy making coffee in a space that size though!

I love this color combination. The modern flowers are so pretty as well.
