Info for Caught with my Pants Down group:
This was taken at Wekiva Springs State Park, a popular swimming, hiking and canoeing spot. These are the bathrooms near the small lake at the very end of the park.
Interesting thing about most Florida state parks is that the skylights seem to illuminate only one urinal. see another
Sometimes you can get these extremely usefull messages from the management console.
The question is, what will happen when you click a button on this one...

This is an old photo from the archives. I just needed something to post so I could share this quick message.
I appreciate the words of support from so many people. Its no secret that I am going through a difficult time and I am trying to find a way to continue my 365 project in an authentic way without baring the private details of my life to everyone and anyone.
I have decided that my 365 will be Friends & Family for a while. I am sure that on my better days I will post photos that are generally public - but I foresee quite a few remaining private.
My contact list on Flickr is such that I have not set any "Friends" or "Family" designations. Although I know that many of you may want to be counted as a friend and are willing to come with me on this part of my journey, I do not want to make any assumptions.
If you would like to be counted as a friend, not because you are curious or for the gossip value - but because you care and you want to help, then please FlickrMail me. There is no pressure. I will not be offended if anyone does not want their contact designation to change. And, please don't be offended if you ask, but I do not add you. I need a safe place and I plan to be protective of it.
Again, thanks so much to everyone. In some ways, I wonder if I am making a mountain of a molehill. I know that my problems are small in the grand scheme of life or compared to the pain and suffering of others. But, its what's happening to me right now and I am just trying to deal the best way that I know how. Hopefully the fun will come back to my stream soon.
This is the backside of the Saint John Free Public Library postcard from the early 20th century. Stamp depicts King Edward VII. If someone had told the writer of the note on this card that a hundred and twenty years later people around the world using linked computers would be able to see their message . . . !
Forgive me, it was a busy day and we were leaving the kids to their own devices in the evening. Although they're old enough I still worry.

My message: "You speak for all of us now...we're standing right behind you! Now I won't have to lie and tell the French people that I'm Canadian!"
(yes, I did that in Paris last year. And yes, I realize that not everybody stands behind the man, and probably never will. But to say "64.6 million of us are standing right behind you, and hopefully those McCain supporters will come around eventually" kind of dilutes the message, don't you think?)
Hero has more of an Asian face, Message has more of a Barbie Asian face. But both are from the same production period.
On 31 December, New Year's Eve began just after Evening Arati in the Temple, starting with Gurudev Himself giving an inspiring message about the New Year and the potential to transform our minds. Afterwards, a video presentation of many Bhakti Marga events of 2018 was shown, and then more bhajans until the final arati with clay lamps all around. Just after midnight, the crowd moved to the upper parking lot for a very loud and exciting display of fireworks to usher in 2019, and then everyone went down to the tent for dancing.
Morning prayers began at 10:00 this year, and as is His tradition in previous years, Paramahamsa Vishwananda performed abishekam to His personal deities in front of a packed room, and then allowed everyone to come and offer water one by one. With bhajans going the entire time, and a spirited chanting of 'Vitthala, Vitthala', the afternoon ended after 16:00 with Guruji giving Vishnu Padam blessings to all.
Happy 2019, Everyone!

I was so curious to see what kind of seeds were in the Message Beans (bought back in December), that I dug them out. They were huge beans (about an inch and a half long) that I didn't recognize. Instead of planting them in the little containers they came in I potted them up in drinking cups with potting soil.
Anyone know what type of beans these are?
