yesterday my boy kota from NY stood at Union Square asking NYers to help japan. He got sooo many messages and donation! THX state & world. we still smile! luv u all!
I added this text to my Mrs's valentine message.
I can't help but notice that the a in beautiful is larger than the rest of the lettering. i must have accidentally altered something. too late now the job is finished ready to hand over in the morning.

This billboard had already been covered by a new advertiser BUT.....after Hurricane Charlie in 2005 the message below appeared.....things that make you go Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

Here someone with a car run over the bikes parked there destroying many of them.
The message says something like this:
To the road pirate
that destroyed
all the bikes
and then went away

It is nearly eight days since the horrific mosque shootings in Christchurch and it has been a difficult week. 50 people died in two locations in the city.
Photography has not been a major focus, and if it wasn't for the fact that I am into my fourth year of a "photo a day" project I would have put the camera away for a few days.
We took our grandson Ethan to his children's cricket game this morning at his home ground of Edgar McIntosh Park, and beside the field were a lot of chalk drawn messages, all on the footpath apart from a couple on the rear wall of the Papanui Bowling Club building, and presumably from school children sometime during the week.

Message: "Dear Nellie, I received your letter and post card and was glad to get them. We are having a time [;] the junior class is about to be expelled on account of sneezing powder in school. [Signed] M.W."
Possibly an April Fool's joke?

I know this is lens flare but with how and what I believe I believe this is a message of assurance that everything will be ok!!!!
The Message is a radical version of the Bible in modern language. I would not want this as my only Bible but it makes one look at the meaning afresh and I value it as one of the versions I use. I bought this copy at the Haywards Heath Christian Book Centre on Friday 10 October 2003.
(Get the "Remix" as this is the same as the other one but it has the verse numbers as well.)
