"A bizarre wading bird of the southern coasts, the Roseate Spoonbill uses its odd bill to strain small food items out of the water. Its bright pink coloring leads many Florida tourists to think they have seen a flamingo." -allaboutbirds.org
Todd McCracken and Jay Furby of Ogilvy HCMC came up with these brilliant
“Put it together” concepts for model maker Tamiya. Cirkus got to 3D visualize 5 famous conspiracy theories for Ogilvy to activate in Print, Ambient and Billboard. Lies, Deceipt and Downfalls can be Put Together using these Moon, JFK, Roswell, Marilyn and Roswell frames.
That’s a shit lot of modelling! Well done for persevering Firebreather Sandesh Codhadu, Mime Priyan Jayamaha, Illusionist Matt Tan and Chevy McGoram!

"One of the most wide-ranging shorebirds in the world, the Whimbrel breeds in the Arctic in the eastern and western hemispheres, and migrates to South America, Africa, south Asia, and Australia. It uses its long, down-curved bill to probe deep in the sand of beaches for invertebrates, but also feeds on berries and insects." -allaboutbirds.org

Just a little break from the south Texas bird action. ;-)
We visited the South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center in Corpus Christi. One of the Coastal Bend’s major visitor destinations and leading nature tourism facilities, the 180-acre South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center showcases nine uniquely-designed floral exhibits and gardens, including the acclaimed Orchid House and Plumeria Garden--plus the Bromeliad Conservatory and Butterfly House. A ‘Walk on the Wild Side’ with Gator Lake, shaded Bird & Butterfly Trail, birding tower, Palapa Grande, wetlands boardwalk and Oso Loop Trail make this a key site on the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail for both shore birds and woodland song birds. The nature tourism destination also offers the Hummingbird Garden, Rose Garden and Pavilion, Arid Garden, Butterfly Garden, Sensory Garden, and EarthKind Demonstration Trial Gardens.
