2020 Thomas C2 in service till September 2nd 2025 bus was involved in a accident and totaled. As of October 2nd the bus is at Copart in Sikeston Missouri awaiting auction.
This native limestone commercial building was built in 1908, just like its neighbor visible just to the left. One or the other served as the town's beauty salon for many decades.

They're taller in Large. ;-)
The adult Whooping Cranes pictured (L&R) return to this same area each winter. This year they succeeded in bringing with them a youngster (center.) Great news! The female on the right appears to have one of the radios that are being used to track the crane's movement.
I like seeing this family group. Two things strike me: 1) I like how the male is watching the juvenile stretch. 2) Right after the juvenile stretched a few times, they all took off in flight...how do they know when they're going to do that? So cool!
