A friend wondered whether I could pose a Sindy climbing that spiral case in her house, and I was up for the challenge! She could only make the first step so far, though! Both of these Active Misses are wearing some of my favourite items from the 1978 Mix & Match fashion range, (More pics on that collection later…) I also just got that Marx ‘Let’s Dress in Style’ accessory pack that is now adorning that Gown Rail. I really wanted that for the boots and Alice headbands, of which blonde Active Sindy is wearing the white one. It was also good to make use of that dining room/Living room floor as an elegant backdrop before all my furniture arrives! :P
The name Hyacinth comes from the Greek Hyakinthos, a handsome young man who in Greek mythology was loved by the sun god Apollo.
One day they were practicing throwing the discus but the jealous god of the West Wind, who was also in love with Hyakinthos, blew the discus back and it fatally wounded him.
From his blood grew a flower which the god Apollo named after him.
The bulbs were first brought to Western Europe in the 16th century and were first cultivated in Austria in the 1500's.
During the 17th and 18th centuries, like the tulip, it was to be found only in the collections of very rich flower collectors.
Because of the hyacinth's pervasive perfume (used in perfumery in France), the bulbs were exorbitantly expensive.
Their heady fragrance, their delicacy and their inimitable spring feeling make them very desirable.
Have a fine day and thank you for your support, M, (*_*)

I was doodling different types of lettering on my moleskine the other day, and this sort of came out of that process. I wanted to do a design with simple shapes and bright colours.

OT-1 rocks and rolls at Hatfield Rd. in Orrington with 30 empty dirts. Those trees nearly match the paint on 319, and at the very least there is a compliment.

CP 472 rolls into Bensenville with an eclectic mix of motive power on the day after Christmas 2014. A CSX GE and some CP stuff sandwiches a recently-retired Soo Line Milwaukee Road bandit MP15 taking the final ride eastward into Bensenville. Hopefully she'll find a new owner and continue to pull the freight.

I didn't have any particular meaning or reason behind creating this, just felt that I should start more experimental editing. I apologise that it's not very well edited, but I haven't really tried something like this before :)
