I have a lot of pairs of stripy socks - but only one matching pair here. Happily the washing machine has not swallowed the rest up, I have all the others to match these - I also have another six pairs the same 😀
This photograph, which comes to you by courtesy of the letter M, is my thirteenth picture for the February's Alphabet Fun: 2018 Edition group.

43005 with 43171 at Aller Divergence on 19-1-94. The reason for calling it divergence is that the junction is now in Newton Abbot.
The working is the Paignton to Laira ecs which will shortly return here to head for Plymouth.
The bridge that this was taken from is now long gone removed when the road was widened.

This week's theme for the Miss Match diptych project was sugar. I had a whimsical take on the theme. Well, originally my idea was completely different but it ended in melted sugar cubes so... this is what you get! :)

Made use of two of my new toys for the daily challenge today. I used the off camera flash for the fill flash and the macro rail for setting up the close up shot.
Taken for the image a day challenge in the Never Professional group.

Headlining once again at the Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds were Damp Matches, a Norwich-based ban. According to their promo on their website they offer a unique blend of alt-rock, trash-hop, and anthemic indie.
Their sound is characterized by big, punchy riffs, thunderous drum lines, and frontwoman Helena Lewis's soaring vocals, often complemented by bassist Will Calvert's hip-hop influences.
They are known for their raucous, high-energy shows and are considered ones to watch on the UK rock circuit.
They were excellent!
We recently attended a parade in Utah and when I saw the rodeo queens in the back of a pickup, it became apparent that there weren't going to be any horses. To make up for Utah's absence of the best part of any parade, here are a beautifully matched pair of Belgian Draft Horses in the Menan, Idaho Parade.

The Old Trafford bus parking ground on a match day would find buses from all over Greater Manchester PTE's operating area.
Here we have three Fleetlines from the west area on Football duties and are from L-R, Atherton depot's 6918 and Leigh's 8073 both wearing the 1981 introduced white orange and brown livery and Swinton's 6927 which still wears Lancashire United red and grey.
This location has now vanished under re-development, though 6927 survives in preservation.
