Missed an exit in Albuquerque,
We don't seem to mind at all,
We pull over,
The sun is burning,
And we lay down to feel the rain fall

et al Projects is pleased to announce a two person exhibition featuring work by the artists ::
Bonnie MacAllister and Rachel Blythe Udell
JOUISSANCE :: PLAY
…
OPENING SATURDAY FEBRUARY 4th (7-10PM)
ON VIEW FEBRUARY 4th thru MARCH 17
JOUISSANCE :: PLAY presents a jubilee of countercultural relics, traditions, and taboo through this multi-disciplinary installation. The interrelated works of these artists revels in interconnectivity, and explores the ways in which we seek to expose the unnaturalness of human isolation.
Moving through the exhibition we are at first removed as foreign guests in this new environment but quickly become privy to and interact with its ever complex movements.
We at et al Projects are thrilled to be working with these artists and sincerely urge you to come experience these works in person.
et al Projects is currently located in the Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan and is easily accessible from the A/C/D/B lines right off the 145th Street stop. Right around the corner from City College and next door to Azucarera Gallery.
Gallery hours are Friday-Monday 10AM-6PM (and by appointment)

installations, spoken word, video, and performance. She is currently exhibiting JOUISSANCE::PLAY at et al projects in New York. Her poetic work appeared most recently in Grasp (Czech Republic), the Toronto
Quarterly, Esque Magazine, and 10,000 Poets for Change/ Fierelingue. She has performed at NYFA (New York Foundation for the Arts) and the Cat Cat Club in Paris. She was a 2007 Pushcart nominee, a five time slam champion, and a 2009 Fulbright-Hays awardee to Ethiopia. Her play, “Mother's Day with Irma” will be produced for the Shubin Theatre's 25th Anniversary. For more info: bonniemacallister.com.
An overview look as of August 2020 at my collection of transit timetables, maps, schedules, ride guides, etc. that I've amassed so far. Many of these were picked up while visiting and fanning different systems, and several others were kindly given to me by fellow transit enthusiasts. This series of photos is based loosely by state or providence, but sometime city or region depending on what I actually have.

This map is a smaller and more detailed scale portion of this map.
This system, built in the fifties, was truly gigantic:
- 56 launching sites arranged into two rings, 170 and 100 kilometers in diameter (marked red);
- 7 supply bases (marked orange);
- 4 close range warning radars forming 50 km ring (marked blue).
(Early warning radar sites, forming 800 km ring, are not shown.)
