For 120 pictures in 2020 #90 "Rambling", this represents more a desire to ramble. I have been perusing the map for locations we can safely visit without staying overnight. There are some interesting places within this area that relate to the Texas Revolution as well as some of the Spanish Colonial sites, so we are thinking about visiting some of them when the weather cools off a bit in a month or two. In many cases we will be able to meander among some of the small backroads to get there.
I just crave sitting outside by a warm fireplace, listening to the shore waves and having a drink... a perfect SL time for me, really :)

Dinas.
Beddgelert is a village and community in the Snowdonia area of Gwynedd, Wales. The population of the community taken at the 2011 census was 455, and includes Nantmor and Nant Gwynant. It is reputed to be named after the legendary hound Gelert.
'Brachacher' it said on my walking map, but I didn't see it on the signposts. A friendly farmer offered to help but I only half understood the local dialect: through long and wet grass, along the wood, ... and what was I looking for: a field?? Finally, there it was: Brachacher: a peaceful hamlet (just a handful of farms).
