This was the builder that made the replicas of the Ferrari 250GT California used in the movie, Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
“The film’s creators knew that they would have to put this vehicle through hell in order to tell the story they set out to share,” says Continental Autosports. “For that reason, the Ferrari that appears in the movie is usually a replica, or rather one of three replicas, that are based on the original model.”

Taken with my vintage G.Zuiko Auto-S f/1:1.4 50mm prime mounted to an OM-D E-M1 body with an MF-2 OM Adapter. While most of the images I took on this day were shot with the lens wide open, I seem to recall stopping this one down to about f/5.6. The result seems quite sharp and the E-M1's focus peaking, which I have programmed to the Fn2 button on the body, worked flawlessly. All in all, it was a distinct pleasure to use a brilliant old manual focus lens on a magnificent modern Olympus body.
As you can see, it was a breezy cold day out with an ambient air temperature of somewhere around minus fifteen degrees Celcius. However, having used Olympus gear for years, in much more challenging weather, I had no doubts at all that the old lens and new body would perform without incident and they did just that.
