Nikkor 80-200/4 Ais @ 200mm f4
Being Helsinki such a flat city Tuomiokirkko summit dominates the city landscape and can be seen from quite many different parts of town. This shot was taken in the afternoon from Suomenlinna a couple of months ago, and only now I decided to upload it to Flickr since I find it quite an interesting prespective.
Went out and picked up a near mint condition AF-n Nikkor 180mm f/2.8 ED (non-D) today. It was too good of a price to pass up. And the shop gave me a B+W filter with it.
Today's weather has been quite cloudy and grey.
I'm thinking, the OOF area blur isn't as pleasing as the AIS version, but it could be just in my head.
The manual focus on this AF lens is no where as nice a feeling as the AIS, but it's very usable. Million times better than my 28-105mm Nikkor AF's focus action.
It's longer than the AIS, but skinnier and lighter. I think it'll work great on my F4s :)

Shot loads with the Fuji X-A1 using the tilt screen. I was really impressed with its continuous shooting rate till later on when I realised that it had switched over to jpeg when I upped the speed. Bummer. Still it was a joy to use and the Nikon V1 and Panasonic GX7 were hardly used.
Shots taken around Himley park in the West Midlands, decided it was time to do a bit of manual focusing so all these are taken on the 400D with a Soligor 135mm f 2.8 MF lens

This was the builder that made the replicas of the Ferrari 250GT California used in the movie, Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
“The film’s creators knew that they would have to put this vehicle through hell in order to tell the story they set out to share,” says Continental Autosports. “For that reason, the Ferrari that appears in the movie is usually a replica, or rather one of three replicas, that are based on the original model.”
Taken with a Nikkor MF 105mm f2.5 pre Ai lens.
