I went out for another frozen dawn a few days ago and watched the sun rise over the frozen expanse of the river. Some mild days have reduced the amount of snow cover, but the wind had been whipping across the region and scouring it with cold blasts. The end result here is the warmth of the sun tracing a trail across frozen water and sculpted snow...a scene sculpted by cold.
