I bought myself a Manfrotto 804RC2 Tripod Head at the Focus on Imaging show at the NEC on Monday. Mum and Dad kindly bought me a Manfrotto 190XProB tripod to go with it as my birthday present, but unfortunately my birthday isn't for another 5 weeks, so I've got a tripod head to put to good use until then.

I've found they make good bottle stoppers....anyone got any other ideas?

Petite photo que j'avais déjà eu l'occasion de faire il y à longtemps au fisheye, je voulais la refaire au 10-20 et avec HDR Efex pro ! c'est fait et je trouve le rendu carrément mieux surtout au niveau des teintes et des textures :)

Waterdrops weren't the only things we photographed around the easter weekend. This is a tiny waterfalls from a stream we discovered in a little forest nearby.

It's photographed with a ND filter from above to give it that dreamy look I so much love from little streams.

I found a beautiful new scene. I took this particular photograph at my second visit. It's not that far away for me, so these won't be the last visits to this typical Odenwald-vista.

Although it's around peak time for meteors at the moment I couldn't see any, probably because I didn't concentrate on the search for them. As compensation I was rewarded with this photograph. I'm not unhappy!

Here's another angle for the new Wakefield College Skills Xchange, Castleford.

The large windowed area at the front is the refectory; after the main entrance hall, the building splits into two wings where all the various workshops are located.

There are an number of these rather novel streetlamps on the grounds of the new Skills Xchange.

As well as the light atop the structure, the inside is lit too - the upright is slotted and mirrored - you get a great rainbow prismic effect as you move around the lamp.

This is the rather stylish seating area outside the main entrance/refectory of the new Skills Xchange. There's a great view to Castleford's 'Winding Wheel' lit sculpture on the roundabout.
