Rotted through, maybe not worth repairing & it would be just as easy to get a second hand one or a fibre glass replacement. Hopefully the sponge seal is still available although not ideal for keeping water away. Might have to make one out of rubber or neoprene if i can get hold of a sheet of it.

VS16 is a biennial, U.S.-only, field training exercise (FTX) with a focus on integration of joint training among U.S. forces. This is a 1920's vintage log home that IWR restored 3 years ago. This is one of the most uniwue cabins that we work on. It is located on the shores of Lake Superior. We restored this log cabin using Sashco Capture - Chestnut as the finish and Sashco Conceal - Santa Fe Trail caulking. There was then the final clearcoat of Sascho Cascade - Satin to protect the finish from the elements and highly damaging UV rays. For maintenance this summer all that was needed was some caulking on the North wall and South wall.
