A cushion cover to take to Materialise, a lovely sewing shop in Edinburgh (www.lovematerialise.com). I made it as a sample to show to participants of the 'Free-hand machine embroidery' workshop.
Quilt I made using my sons old jeans, and designs that signified something from their lives, quilt goes to their sister Nicole, center design is something she drew out and I had digitzed for embroidery.

I did preshirnk this tee and put the tag back on as it was a gift for the little girl across the street who loves horses.

This all started with the placemat with the light strips made by the Tutwiler Women Quilters. First, it was coordinating napkins, then 2 more placemats, then a table runner.
Inspired by a Rosebuds songs this is made with water soluble stabilizer and machine embroidery applied to hand-dyed fabrics- It tells me to 'suck it up and deal' & quotes 'Hold Hands and Fight'

This was made by using pieces of hand made wet felt which were seperately hand embroidered and then pieced together on to a fabric which had been machine embroidered before hand.

Moving through the steps of designing with new techniques, I'm allowing some synchronicity to come to play. The piece of sun dyed cloth that surrounds the fused flowers was itself a layered fused piece waiting to be made into business card cases. How could I refuse using it to frame this garden? Next, tying it together and filling out the design with more free motion stitched flowers and leaves.
