A man entertains passerbys on West Morrison Street in Portland, Oregon. Painted silver, he stands as still as a statue until money is tossed into his bucket and then performs by rolling a glass sphere on his hands and forearm using machine like movements without speaking or moving his mouth. A series of 20 photos of the idle Intertype machine in my friend Ron's shop in S. Fla.
Taken 4/2/12 by Jan Norris
My husband and his band practice every Wednesday at the drummer's dad's machine shop. One day they had me come with them to take some pictures for the bands MySpace page. Taking pictures of the same three people for three and a half hours was rather boring, so I decided to wander around the shop and find other things to photograph. I thought these were the best shots of the night.

I'm not totally sure where I took this, but I think it was in the underpass between the Flamingo and the Paris Casino. I took a bunch to try and get the weird uniformity of it down, but sort of didn't succeed.
Info off the net:
1982 A***s Les Paul Custom Build Model
A***s is a brand name of Kyowa Shokai is distributing.
This brand is still available but only for replacement guitar parts now.
Kyowa shokai (it is a whole seller here) distributed many guitar brands such as
Gallan, Fresher and Camel. A***s brand is top model of these brands.
I have heard that this brand was produced by Mr. Shiino (who is founder of Vesta and ESP, produced H.S. Anderson ).
I could imagine. A***s is very good quality and specification even compare with Gibson original.
A***s - Kyowa Shokai - Chushin Gakki
I remember this brand was so expensive as new brand in 1980.
Kyowa tried to get into the high end guitar market. Then, asked Mr. Shiino of Vestax to consult this brand. The Les Paul replica was over JYE 100,000 and stratocaster was like 80,000 - 90,000. They also offered the full acoustic like JYE 250,000.It is very difficult to see the original model. However, if you could find out, this brand is a must Buy collection item. When I get it. Of course, I would introduce. A***s brand is still handled by Kyowa. But they are offering only guitar parts now.
