The main idea of "Inception": if you run a VM inside a VM inside a VM inside a VM, everything will be very slow
Half Machine 2008, Copenhagen: THE SHAIDON EFFECT (DJ SET / LIVE DRUM SET / LIVE DANCERS) presents THE SPECIAL PLAYER
THE SPECIAL PLAYER is a fully interactive environment. Involving a sophisticated responsive motion tracking technique, professional dancers, DJs and the public, THE SPECIAL PLAYER explores a massively disquieting conspirative narration revolutionizing the concept of augmented reality and sense of self.
HALF MACHINE artists collective work within interactive art installations, dance performance and concert events - complex collaborative art experiments involving the audience.
An international group of artists create large scale light- and water installations, aerial suspensions, pyrotechnics, high voltage labs and more from recycled materials and electronic wizardry.
We have a big bathroom but a small kitchen. So it makes sense to keep the washing machine in the bathroom. The trouble comes each time you need to replace the old machine.

The little fin on the left engages in the slots in the template on the right (to which the finger board is vacuum clamped). This ensures the fret slots are placed precisely.

There wasn't much light in this little vestibule, but for the cold glow from the old vending machine.
Our friends Geo Monley and Brandon Onstott are making a porthole for the Time Machine we’re creating at Pataphysical Studios, with a world-class team of of artists, makers, engineers and multimedia innovators. This interactive art exhibit will invite you to travel through time and meet characters from the past, present and future.
Geo and Brandon are building this porthole at Tam Makers, our community makerspace, where they can use a wider range of tools, from Autocad 360 to laser cutter or CNC rounter. The design is similar to the iris used in cameras, which let you open and close a circular very elegantly.
Our guests will be invited to open these portholes as part of their time travel experience, to interact with characters and articfacts from different times.
It’s great to see different teams come together to design and build the various parts of our Time Machine. That’s what collective art projects are all about!
