A North American first, La Machine will captivate audiences with its ambulatory urban theatre on the streets of downtown Ottawa in summer 2017.
This machine is located at the Scottish Rite Hospial in Dallas, TX. The machine is used to carve a mold of a child's body, or limb for a custom brace or prosthetic to be made. They use a 3D lazer scanner o get the computer to carve the block of foam to match the child's body. The machine was purchased by a generous donation from the Speedway Children's Charities. We wrapped this through our non profit organization called www.wrapbuddies.com
High-functioning robots, self-driving vehicles, artificial intelligence, and many other astonishing technologies have — in the past few years — moved from science fiction into the mainstream economy. What will happen next? And what will these advances mean for job prospects, wages, and well-being, both in the US and around the world? MIT’s Andrew McAfee, coauthor of the 2014 bestseller "The Second Machine Age", will take on these questions. Amid this bounty will also be wrenching change. Professions of all kinds — from lawyers to truck drivers — will be forever upended. Companies will be forced to transform or die. Recent economic indicators reflect this shift: Fewer people are working and wages are falling even as productivity and profits soar.

Dollar$ for Deadbeat$ benefit gig at The 12 Bar, Denmark Street London on May 24th 2009.
Roger Rags Segal was left stranded in London when the Sorry & The Sinatras tour was cancelled so friends rallied round to help him out with living costs and beer money, Rich Jones of The Loyalties organised the gig in fine punk as rock style.
The Eureka Machines provided a short 'support' set before the newly formed and never rehearsed together 'Dollar$ for Deadbeat$' crammed onto the small stage for some sweaty punk rocking.
Dollar$ for Deadbeats featured Roger 'Rags' (Sorry & The Sinatras), Ginger (The Wildhearts), Jorma Vik (The Bronx), Chris McCormack (3 Colours Red), Acey Slade (Murderdolls/Amen/Trashlight Vision), Dave Kerr (Sorry & The Sinatras, The Cherrykicks), Tom Spencer(The Yo-Yo's, The Loyalties), Rich Jones (The Black Halos, Amen, The Loyalties), members of the Eureka Machines, Pat Lynch (Junkstar), Rich Rags (Madison Strays, Role Models), Spider Stacy (The Pogues)

The generators in the machine hall. They've been upgraded from 100MW to 135MW including fitting more efficient turbines. The red display board half way down the right hand wall indicates the system is was producing 525.9MW when the picture was taken. The heat from the generators kept the viewing platform at about 30C.

This soft drink machine sits on the side of the road a little south of where I live. The cans of drink at 75 cents and all the buttons say "Mystery" and vend a random drink to you.
It's fun although I got root beer and do not like it.
On this machine, you can buy single fare tickets, all of the various passes including the Monatskarte (monthly pass) and multi-zone tickets that let you travel on the Schnellbahn and ÖBB trains in the Wien region.

Not a computer in sight in this working machine shop in south-western Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1914 and still operating by the same family. Durable "old school" machine tools and the operator's skills. No CNC or 3D printer. Just line shafts and flat belt pulleys. A time capsule of early twentieth century technology.
I believe there may actually be two Mystery Machines here in Lincoln. This one happened to be parked in College View when I stopped to drop some BookCrossing books at The Mill.
Progress from tonight on my V.2 of my Vending machine. I haven't started work on the tower yet and am still not done here, All I have done is nearly tiled off all of the edges. Some of it is either neccesary or I want it to be there for the roof to connect. I also extended it 6 studs in either direction, making the bays now 22 studs long. Tomorrow will be work on the roof of this building. Whilst it is sized to the new building, it still needs to be changed so that it is more dynamic as that was one part of the model I previously skimped on. After that, I plan to work more on the tower, such as building in my pinnable platform and improving the accidental gaps on the roof. I will also be making that roof just a little more detailed, and also the pillars on the inside will now provide actual support to the roof rather than just being athstetic. I may also come back and do some more work on the interior as it still is just a little too sparse and I want it to look more filled, more specifically in the garage area.
