One-third scale Pacific-type steam locomotives built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition in San Francisco. Now living at Swanton Pacific RailRoad near Santa Cruz, CA. This is the third of four sister locomotives. She's in the machine shop getting her boiler looked after. The forth never-completed locomotive lives at the California Railway Museum in old town Sacramento, CA. I made a picture of the forth locomotive, 1915, last month.

We got a new donation over at The Geek Group this week - Haas TM1 and TL1 machines. (CNC lathe and mill) This gave us the opportunity to re-arrange the machine shop... I think it's quite pretty! In the adjacent room is the SR-100, a CNC router table.

so my favorite shot of wednesday's walk was this. imagine a vending machine that dispenses suits for anyone in te family and caps, goggles, swimmies.
they have a great olympic sized pool about a half a mile (or less) from their apt building-- in addition to the pool there is an indoor gym were they seemed to be practicing soccer yesterday and a coffee bar. and they are expanding the sports complex!
The screed machine shown here is used to automatically finish off the surface of the deck concrete. This machine rides on rails that are set according to the profile of the roadway along the deck. As the machine runs transversely along the bridge it will also build a cross slope in to the deck so it will drain water properly.
The screed rail for this side of the bridge is placed in the area where a sidewalk will be located. Because there are bars that stick up where the toe of the sidewalk will be located the machine cannot be used here. The area under the sidewalk will be finished the old fashion way, by hand. The surface in this area is not critical since there will be sidewalk concrete cast on top.

Most of my recent uploads have been fallowed with negative descriptions. Well, today won't be like that. I've somewhat dived back into photography. Slowly I'm trying to get my name out there again and work with people I haven't yet. I've been MIA for so long I'm shocked anyone still even knows who I am, shocked but very thankful.
A few people here have been very supportive (even if they don't know it) and told me not to give up. They were right, as everyone usually is.
Anyway, I've got some exciting things in the works and I cannot wait to share more new photos!

Pneumatic mechanical agitate type flotation machine is a sort of external pneumatic flotation machine, and its main characteristic is that the flotation efficiency should be improved by the vertical and big circulation slurry and the low pressed air pressured by the blower. The agitator (rotors- stator parts) just functioning as agitating the slurry and dispensing and distributing the airflow. The air is blowered by the attached external low press blower.
Owing to the mechanical agitator doesnt have the function of suction, the impeller (rotors) rotation speed is lower than the flotation machine, so the wear of rotors-stator parts is light, the working life is long, and the power assumption of handling a certain unit ores is small. Due to less strong agitating function of the mechanical agitator, it is not easy to generate anglicization phenomenon when flotation brittleness minerals, and meanwhile the mineral liquid surface is stable , and it is easy for forming stable foam layer, which is good for improving flotation technology indicators. The air-charge and agitator is separated, so the quantity of air-charge can be easily and separately adjusted, and it can maintain constant as per the processing technology requirements.
