VI Series Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher is also called Sand Maker, which is high-functioned equipment for making sand and shaping, is researched and produced by our corporation, absorbed with the advanced technology from Germany, and owned advanced world standards. This equipment has two types: rock-on-rock and rock-on-iron. Sand yield of “rock-on-iron” type is higher by 10-20% than that of “rock-on-rock” type.
Usages of Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher:

Working Principle of Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher:Material falls down into high rolling impeller cavity vertically through the upper part of machine. Under great centrifugal force, it hits and crushes another part of material that distributing around the impeller with umbrella form. After hitting each other, they force a vortex between impeller and shell, and hit each other several times; finally smaller stone comes out, and goes to vibrating screen. Satisfactory material is transported by conveyor belt. However overlarge material will go back to Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher to be re-crushed. Otherwise, output sizes can be also adjusted according to customer’s requirement.
Features and Benefits of Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher:1. Simple structure, easy to set up and repair, low cost in operation;
2. High production of crushing, has the function of fine crushing and rough grinding;
3. Excellent shape of product, mainly the product shape is cubic with small fraction of elongated flaky particle shape, suitable for aggregate shaping, manufactured sand.

My newest machine is called THE PISTON STEPPER. It is a reworking of the idea for my first marble machine. It is made using cherry, maple, yellowheart, and walnut. Each part of the machine is handmade from real wood, cut to fit, tested, and finished for optimal performance.

My old washing machine got cranky, and after trying to get 3 different repairman to give a sh*t (and costing me a fortune, not to mention wasted time), I ended up taking it apart myself to try and fix. I finally gave up and bought a new machine.
This one sings at me instead of eating clothes like the old one.

Researching but have not found a manufacture date for this machine. Looks built to last for another couple of centuries at least. also rather interesting construction or so it seams and not the usual switch stand that I have seen.
Many Many thanks to PoppaJ who found this information on the above switch machine from a 1917 ad in Railway Maintenance Engineer. Based on a couple of pix I have of the Henderson area, it appears that Seaboard was partial to the Ramapo switch stands as it appears they used #17 also. Need to photograph the base of several of them to get the model.
Cuando visité Apple en 2003 no nos dejaron tomar ninguna fotografía del interior del Campus pero, al salir de una de las salas de reunión grandes, vimos una máquina de helados a la que le tuve que tomar un vídeo furtivamente. Nos pareció gracioso una máquina de helados funcionando con un brazo robótico y por vacío y yo estaba decidido a sacar algo en mi cámara. Durante cinco años la imagen estuvo en mi galería de MWSF'03, sin que nadie supiera realmente de qué iba.
Subo el vídeo aquí porque me parece una máquina graciosa, porque es lo único que pude grabar adentro y para probar Flickr Video.
When I visited Apple in 2003 they didn't let us take any pictures but, after going out one of the bigger meeting rooms we saw an Ice Cream machine that I decided I would capture on video no matter what. We had bought one and were amused by the vacuum robotic arm that delivers the ice cream. I took a video of it and it's been in my MWSF'03 gallery for five years.
I'm putting it here because I think it's an amusing machine, because it's the only thing I was able to record from inside Apple's Campus and to test Flickr Video.
We got a new donation over at The Geek Group this week - Haas TM1 and TL1 machines. (CNC lathe and mill) This gave us the opportunity to re-arrange the machine shop... I think it's quite pretty! In the adjacent room is the SR-100, a CNC router table.

Bottom right - mum's machine was like this. I started sewing on it in the 1940s.
Top left - dad bought me one like this mid 1950s and I used it for many years as the family were growing up - so many little clothes and household things stitched on it! I can't remember what happened to the machine but I have just brought the cabinet inside after years wrapped up in the shed - and it's fine for my "new" work table!

Bottom left - my treat now I'm just hobby sewing!
