Lovely French Macaroon... Will you resist the temptation ?

Sony A7 + LA-EA4 + Minolta Beercan.
I had intended to get a few more of these in focus than I succeeding in doing. But I was 2.5 stops slower than recommended as it was. Although, on reflection the drop in focus is kind of interesting.
The most incredible hat for my gorgeous Cognac! It will probably be a "permanent fixture" on her head, as I love the hat on her!! This dress arrived too and is so perfect! Happiness = PINK!

I can't tell you if these macaroons tasted as good as they look because the shop wasn't open at the time I shot this through their window. This shot does make me wonder if any artificial colouring is used in their production though........

Wanted to visit the Fido store, but it took me by surprise that this cute little bakery named 'Quelque Chose' replaced it. Couldn't resist but try 2-3 macaroons avec latte au matcha vert! :)

Today challenge with Macaroons
Saw this in a patisserie in Cannes along with about twenty teenagers with camera phones. So I can't claim it was a unique find.....
Today has been good, very very good. I took so many photos and I'm so excited to start uploading them. I'm taking some more tomorrow :)
I actually have a reason to smile again.
so this past tuesday was pretty much the highlight of that whole week!
jordan and i decided to take a little trip that whole day to mainly go try out this dine LA thing where you get a 3-course meal for a discounted price, sooo we decided to take advantage of that and go to melting pot which was reallyy good haha. so yeah, basically we went up to torrance cause it's an LA thing and we couldn't go anywhere further down socal, and we didn't realize it only opened at 5. so we decided to make a reservation and then drove up to beverly hills to go to a macaron shop that i've been dying to go to since forever! and it was so cute and pretty. haha. i got 6 macarons and they are amazing. i wish i could go up there every day to buy macarons, but the drive and traffic is just horrid and i can only stand being in LA for a certain amount of time. i just don't feel safe at all and there are just so many weird people around. but anyways, we had to pay at a parking meter so we had time to kill and went into Tiffany and Co. hahaha. but after we got our macarons, we drove back to torrance to for dinner and mind you, even with the dine LA discount, it was pretty frickin expensive but it was a pretty good dining experience. it's basically a fondue restaurant. for us, we got the dine LA 3 course meal with the cheese fondue, then the meat cooking within a broth, and then chocolate fondue which was uh-mazing..all of it was amazing. haha. so after that, we decided to go to santa monica pier just to relax and chill for a bit and it was really nice especially with the pretty lights from the ferris wheel and the pier in general. but all in all, i was just happy i was able to spend time with him and to be able to end the nice night at the beach with him. it's the one thing i've been wanting to do since summer was a big flop for the both of us. but anyways, here's a photo of my macarons i picked out! yummmm.
