For this week Macro Mondays theme ''Sweet Spot Squared'' I decided to use a nice chocolate cake. Unfortunately, my husband ate my subject.... So, I used these colorful macaroons. They are actually small circular cakes. Mines were 5 cm in diameter. I shot this picture at f/8 to achieve the optimal sharpness. I hope you will enjoy them.
Thank you everyone for your visits, faves, and kind comments.
Time for some new photographs, don't you think?!

A special request from my flickr friend, dolphin613. =)
My parents just came back from Europe, including a stop in Paris, where they bought a box of these luscious Ladurée gerbets (mini macarons) for me. =) Fortunately, they survived an 11-hour flight without too much breakage. I couldn't think of a more creative way to photograph them--besides, I was dying to eat them already. =D
Fresh baked this evening. I am very late starting my baking.
