What you don't want to see from your Macbook [Pro].
Worked fine earlier today - I switch it off, do my housework, and then find that it can't find its hard drive any longer. Hopefully the drive itself is fine, as I have data I need to get off here.... :/
How can I fix it? (I fear that taking it to Apple means saying bye bye to my data)

The MBP runs super hot with the SL client, leading to frustrating lockups.
I prop the laptop on 2 books to allow airflow below the machine, and I run the handy smcFanControl above 5000 rpms to keep the beast chilled.
And if the avatars are dull (as they were today), I can pull out a prop and find refuge in words.
