I really need to start making money with these computers in order justify the inordinate amount of money they cost.
Looks like my MacBook Pro battery is starting to bulge. Man I wish the Birmingham Apple Store was already open.
My two machines together. The MacBook Pro is really pretty much as bright as my iMac and is great outdoors - streets ahead of my iBook G4.
Both are on full brightness, with MacBook Pro's battery saving features DISABLED.
"hotpluggable" FW drive hosed MBP start up disk; now it's a target disk as 250GB of files transfers into another mac & out to a 500GB drive.
MBP start up disk got corrupted from a power surge caused by a FW 400 drive. Running disk utility from the DVD couldn't fix start up disk. Now it's on target disk mode as I pull my files out of into a desktop & out to a 500GB backup drive.

The MacBook couldn't keep up with the compiling I'm doing in the road for my clients, so it was time to upgrade. This thing is sick, sick, sick...she's all of 24 hours old, and 3 hours out of the box.
The edges of lid's surface have a more gradual curvature than the previous Macbook Pro models, which gives the illusion of an even thinner notebook. The white Apple logo has been replaced with a glossy surface.
A first generation Unibody MacBook Pro that used to be my work laptop. The screen became unglued near the hinge, and Apple wanted $700 to replace it (not covered by warranty.)
Since it was just glued in the first place, I reglued it with cyanoacrylate and it was good as new until I returned it at the end of my employment over a year later.
Looks like a few minor changes to the structure of the Apple logo since the 1980s. Surprisingly, the logo on the back of the Macbook Pro is sized very close to the 20+ year old sticker.
