Tung-Streng (Cambodia) - One of the few leisure activities that the inhabitants of Tung-Streng can enjoy is swimming in the Mekong.
Another free activity for the population: outdoor collective gymnastics sessions to local rap or techno, at full blast. When I hear amplifiers spitting out these kinds of decibels I immediately turn on my heel and walk away as quickly as possible. I have fragile eardrums. This is why I only offer a beach photo. And then collective gym sessions are rarely photogenic.
No more junk food! Seriously y'all, I am trying! Moderation is the key though.
I recently went to the doctor for the first time in years and to my surprise got a good report. I am so trying to turn my life around phyiscally, mentally and emotionally. I think I am succeeding and I was in such a dark place just a few short years ago. Having a chance to live my life the way it was meant to be is making a difference. It takes time and a lot of patience and I am getting there slowly but surely and feel better every day:)
Water, taken in moderation, cannot hurt anybody.

Of the yew plant only the berries are eatable, the rest including the seeds is toxic. However in the past the yew was used as herbal medicine, but also as a poison.

I look at what I eat. I try to avoid flavour enhancers, preservatives and other food additives and eat other things as sugar and salt in moderation.

Just a little tune to set the mood….I hope you enjoy. (Don't read too much into the tune it just caught me I am very lucky in love!!)
umm, don't answer that question. They are both beautiful, although i prefer snow in moderation and actually use my flip-flops in summer.
Many African cultures revere the African Elephant as a symbol of strength and power. It is also praised for its size, longevity, stamina, mental faculties, cooperative spirit, and loyalty. South Africa uses elephant tusks in their coat of arms to represent wisdom, strength, moderation and eternity.

I have no clue what those guys are doing, transporting zillions of used plastic bottles, having loaded their moped like others play Tetris.

More candy leftovers from Christmas. If it is in the house, I will eat it. I hate the idea of wasting it and I suck when it comes to eating things in moderation. Geez, I will even eat M&Ms by the handful...and not just one handful either.
I hope you had a great day!

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.

So our emulation challenge this week in My Face is My Canvas can be classified as "fantasy." The inspiration picture felt like it embodied fire, and I was feeling more airy today. So I went softer. Haven't done some serious face art in a while, so I had fun with this today.
Now that I'm done processing my pictures, I can focus on what's really important: tonight's season premiere of Lost!!! Dying in anticipation! I can't believe we're already starting the final season. I want to cry. I can still remember watching the very first episode on the first day it aired, alone in my condo, and freaking the fark out! Tonight's episode is guaranteed to blow my mind. And I love me some good, mind-blowing television. :) The best part? I get to watch the premiere a full three hours before Daynna!! I might have to torture her with texts throughout the entire premiere...

My babe's Flickr got hit with another 'safety & moderation' timeout, all because of panty and thong drama again. 😂 #TooHotForTheSystem
Here we go again, like it's guarding some national secret when it's literally just a cute shot. We'll wait it out. Nothing serious. Still laughing about it together.
Amazing art, babe. First elf AV, and damn, it turned out fire. Had a lot of fun shooting this with you.

Growing up on a tropical island (not in Hawaii sadly) I remember being so jealous of the white Christmases I'd see in all the movies on tv. Now living in cold Belgium and preparing for Christmas while it's raining and storming outside I can't help but think back on those early childhood Christmases at the beach and having cookouts instead of fancy dinners.
Luckily we can pick our own weather in Second Life so I decided to create a tropical "Christmas card" to wish you all happy holidays and hopefully a better 2021!
Ps. Flickr's moderation bot keeps setting this picture to restricted but I swear there's no nudity 😳

PLEASE NO MASS-INVITES of all these GROUPS where nobody is awarding !!!!!
its a shame what some group owners are doing at flickr, creating every day new groups and make every one admin !..no one is looking (moderation) what comes in for fotos ..with no referance at all to the theme of the group. DEFLATION at FLICKR is the result !
If this goes on at flickr i will set my fotos on NON INVITEs

This was taken when Skylar and I went hiking yesterday in a new area of Shell Ridge (Mt. Diablo State Park) that I’ve never been to before, and it was so lovely there! We only had very limited time but I did come away with this lovely shot and look forward to a return trip soon.
A lot of people have been commenting lately that they appreciate my “restrained” use of HDR and I’m so happy that my work is coming across that way. I do think that HDR opens up an exciting new world of photography but also that it can definitely be taken too far and easily be overdone. Like most things in life (alcohol, cake, exercise, work), moderation is key. ;)
Pensée du jour :

The Flickr Moderation Bot is overly biased! It keeps changing the this image's safety level to RESTRICTED. It must see the two lighter-colored balloons as salacious. Can you believe that?
OK I have a really talented contact www.flickr.com/photos/nobodys_shots/ thats created some really great images using Fractalisous (edit I figured out how to spell it "fractalius") so I thought I'd give it a try...........and it's not as easy as I thought :-)))) oh and thanks "alot" to this sick guy Kenny for the suffering :-))

The man who makes everything that leads to happiness depends upon himself, and not upon other men, has adopted the very best plan for living happily. This is the man of moderation, the man of manly character and of wisdom.

Anyone who's ever dealt with Cattle and Horses knows about the threat of members of the Senecio family in their fodder. In the field, Our Farm Animals will avoid eating these often brightly colored plants, but they may be unaware of them in dried fodder (e.g. hay bales). The threat is dire, and Horses, for example, will die a terrible death after ingesting Senecio ssp!
Humans don't eat these plants, but sometimes do use them medicinally. An overdose can have bad effects harming your liver by so-called unsaturated pyrrolizidine alkaloids.
So I've wondered how Bees cope when they gather pollen and nectar from Senecian plants. Apparently research has relatively recently demonstrated that Bees themselves are not seriously affected by pyrrolizidine. But tiny quantities of that poison have been found in Honey for Human Consumption. Not to worry though; the threat is only in consuming gallons and gallons of that Sweet Stuff. Which brings to mind ancient Seneca's dictum that nothing contributes more to moderation in all things than frequent reflection on the brevity and uncertainty of life.
And anyway in the context of our photo, I don't know of anyone who eats Bumblebee Honey...
At home, surrounded by so many delicious and tempting treats, Skippy quietly whimpers "Only one piece? But but but... I really want to eat ALL of this candy right now..."
