I spotted this leaf at the end of a random photowalk under a tree. I noticed it was backlit by the sun so I patiently waited until the wind stopped blowing the leaf and captured the image.

...or matters of size. The five homes in the center of the photo were built in the late 70's or early 80's. They are pretty standard issue, the type built with some variation for decades. What is interesting here is that these five homes took the place of one house. When the area was first developed large homes flanked by gardens were the norm even smaller homes were built on double lots to accommodate gardens which acted as a buffer to the neighbors.

Students gathered to march and protest through the campus against racial violence and featured events on police brutality, white privilege, and on raising black children.
If we do not struggle against racial violence we are complicit in that violence.
