Mandalas are symbols that represent the universe. They usually have a circular shape and are typical of Buddhism and Hinduism, as part of spirituality. Mandala is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning circle.Tibetan monks make sand mandalas following a special practice called dul-tson-kyil-khor, which literally means "colored powder mandala" Making a sand mandala takes a long time, patience and precision. But these sand mandalas have a very short life. Shortly after their completion, the monks completely destroy the mandalas they created with so much care and attention. The destruction of the mandala serves to learn non-attachment, to understand that nothing lasts forever.

Fruit mandala.
The fruit in addition to being the quintessential dessert and to bring color and beauty to our table, the regular consumption of fruit represents in our diet a pillar of the dietary balance and the security of a correct contribution of certain vitamins.
It cannot be replaced by other more modern desserts without unbalancing our diet.
It is part of our eating behavior to eat fruit after main meals.
Peeled and chopped fruit should be consumed as soon as possible, as the taste and appearance deteriorate and the vitamin content decreases.

Here two mandala masters shot from the street.
It seems to me a really cool situation where they sit one opposite the other in a Street of Bhaktapur, Nepal.
An incredible scene i didn't miss at all :)
