This is not E.T.. lol. Kengo Kuma's work in his young age. Finished his post modern architecture, he come under the global spotlight.

The Oslo Opera House (in Norwegian, Operahuset) is the seat of The Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, and the national opera theatre in Norway. The building lies in Bjørvika, in the center of Oslo, at the head of the Oslofjord. Its builder was Statsbygg, a government-run property owner. The architects were the Norwegian firm Snøhetta who were also the architects of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (the Library of Alexandria) in Egypt. The theatre designers were Theatre Projects Consultants based in London, the acoustic designers were BrekkeStrandArup, a joint venture between local consultant Brekke Strand Akustikk and international acousticians Arup Acoustics. Norwegian construction company Veidekke was awarded one of the largest building contracts of the project. The structure provides a total area of 38,500 m² and includes 1,100 rooms, one of which has 1,350 seats and another has up to 400 seats. Total expenditures for the building project were planned at 4.4 billion NOK, but finished ahead of schedule, and 300 million NOK under budget.
The Opera House was finished in 2007 with the opening event held on 12 April 2008. King Harald V of Norway opened the Opera House that evening at a gala performance attended by national leaders and royalty, including President Tarja Halonen of Finland, Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany and Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. The main stage is 16 meters wide, and can be made up to 40 meters deep.
The Opera won the culture award at the World Architecture Festival in Barcelona in October 2008. Jury member Sir Peter Cook said of the Opera House that it "...in its scale, ambition and quality has raised the bar for Norwegian architecture."

Button rewind w. 1971 summicron. This 50mm version is not the most popular in the Leica lineup, but a very nice lens never-the-less. Only complaint is the very long focus throw. Currently undergoing an overhaul w Sherry Krauter
The 2025 Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT25) took place between Friday 18th and Sunday 20th July at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire. Many coaches and shuttle buses were involved in transporting spectators and crews to the event, one of these was HT24 HWT, a Mercedes-Benz Tourismo M/2 coach in the fleet of D&P Coaches, Farnborough, Hampshire. It was new to Hollywood Travel, Garretts Green, West Midlands in June 2024, passing to D&P Coaches when just four months old.

'58 vintage M2 button rewind with a 3rd generation Summicron 35mm.
I belive that this may be one of the best combo's in Leica Land when it comes to price and performance. The M2 button rewind is unjustly priced lower that the lever rewind version and the lens is considerably better build than the much hyped 4th generation plus I seriously doubt many will be able to notice any difference in the results.
I almost got kicked out of the club like three times taking shots there. The first time a guy came over and told me not to take photos in Korean, I totally played the dumb foreigner card with shrugs - "waaat? I don't understand Korean. Sooory. :(" And they sent the same guy again after a while who kept pointing at my camera with his index finger in big gestures and forming a giant X with his arms repeatedly. It couldn't be any clearer and yet I acted like a drunken foreigner who was totally psyched that he was making "complements" about my camera - "Thanx! I know it's a nice camera! I like it too! :D" Then, they sent a dude who actually spoke English who told me to put away my camera or I'd be kicked out of the club. But by then it was too late. The deed has been done!
I don't understand what the big deal is. There are people who take pictures with point-n-shoots and they never say anything to them. Freakin' racist againt DSLRs. Injustice yo.
It was a great night tho. Steph, Dan, Carol, Steve, Leanne and misc. others.. and Esther joined us later as well.
