Looking down Broadway in San Francisco with the Bay Bridge and the Port of Oakland looming in the distance. At times I wonder about all the objects that make up our lives and how we process them.
Consider the words of Shankara, the famous Hindu philosopher:
"All things -- from Brahma the creator down to a single blade of grass -- are. . .simply appearances and not real."
If this is true, just what the heck are we looking at? Maybe the lens does lie.

When you drop into a slot canyon like Lower Antelope, You enter an area of sensory chaos.The problem as a photographer is to make sense of it all.
Over millions of years these slot canyons have been formed by the actions of water and wind on the local sandstone. Now a days you must have a Navaho guide which was not always so. After a flash flood took the lives of 10 tourists in August of 1995, a Navaho guide that was familiar with the local canyons became mandatory with entry.
This photo was shot hand held with an ISO of 500. I wanted to take as many shots as I could in the limited space in the canyon and limited time allowed.
The point of light became the focal point and the color reflections off the wall added to the sensual textures of the worn walls. It became a balance of light and color as the sun passed over head and light reflected off the canyon walls.
The clouds kept building and I was worried that i might not get any colour from the sunrise, but it slipped underneath the clouds.
Continuing the routine, L-HLA816 begins shoving light into the former Chrysler Plant Lead, backing down toward what was once a yard filled of Dodge and Plymouth products. Now, it sits as a yard barely filled with revenue cars, with BNSF occasionally bringing in cars in for storage. Operations within the yard are handled by Burlington Junction Railway which makes sporadic runs switching the remaining customers. Coming back out, 816 would have a cut of several 2-Bay hoppers plus a string of boxcars that had been tucked away in storage, making the short local the size of some manifest.
With this river being at record lows I was able to wade back and forth across the river all the way next to the falls. Which all in its self was pretty cool. I decided on this shot. I have one from right next to the falls that I will post later, which won't even look like it came from this waterfall. If you look and the left side of the waterfall you can see a hint of a rainbow.
This scene greets the shivering hiker, and immediately one forgets the cold water torture to get here

Yesterday we set out for Upper Cathedral Lake, but since I get lost easily we ended up at Lower Cathedral Lake…I think. The lake was frozen, the air was cold, the wind was brutal, the elevation was rough, the sunset was amazing (but it was behind me), the hike back was dark. All that said, it’s hard to complain about a place this gorgeous.

Langendonker Mühle, Grefrath, Lower Rhine, Germany, North Rhine-Westphalia.
The Langendonker mill is probably leased in leasehold in 1353 by Duke Reinald von Geldern and his brother to Godert von Wachtendonk. Its descendants remained in the possession of the sovereign mill until around 1700. The ban on the mill for the Grefrath area lay on the mill. Because of the lease interest, but above all because of the use of hydropower and the right to hold water, there were several disputes and official orders in the 18th century. The conventional oil and grinding mill was converted around 1770 to grind tobacco leaves. The Krefeld merchant Abraham von der Westen, who owned the mill since 1771, ran a snuff production. From 1841 it became a grain and oil mill again. Two covered water wheels drove the mill. From 1870 an 8 HP steam engine was put into operation. With the kidney regulation in 1927, the mill operation was stopped.

Hello there, welcome back to another Cyberpunk build. As you may know now, I’m became to more diverse person in terms of themes, so be ready to see some non-Star Wars content. This build took me about three weeks to complete and due to Corona, I’ve now got more time. This build takes place in the future in which where criminals roams around freely with no one to stop them. This build was inspired a bit by [Intense Potato] with his colorings. The two pods were also taken inspiration from a building in Japan called the Nakagin tower.
