From earlier this past year while in Gladwin, Mi. My wife and I asked to go inside a house where we were visiting the owner (she was a childhood friend of our grandmother). I had my camera on my hip so naturally things ended up having their pictures taken.

Start of a new Album dedicated to the outside in views and inside out views. The picture focuses on a portrait of Bob Marley exhibited on a wall of the Caribbean King on the edge of Hitchin Market. This Portrait is so simply presented in a minimalist way that I found it rather powerful.

Eager to catch the fall colors, we took a week in late autumn and headed to Austria and Italy for a road trip exploring the back roads while chasing creative photography opportunities.

Proleće mi je uvek udaralo šamar, Leto se kao kupina kotrljalo obodom mojih usana, a Zima
bi mi zazvonila u glavi kao grozd praporaca, trpajući pune šake dijamanata u moje misli, jednostavno,
kao šake staklenih klikera u duboke džepove kaputa...
Ali Jesen me je najviše mazila...
Spuštala mi se na ramena nežno, kao tanani sveter obojen dimom spaljenog lišća, i učila me
recima kojima se priziva tišina, i koje se (ako ih pravilno zamisliš), rimuju sa rominjanjem kiše, i slade
pod jezikom kao brašnjave mrvice pečenog kestena...
Da, nešto se dogodilo u onom posebnom kosmičkom satiću, ugrađenom u vlažni sivi pesak,
negde na samom izvoru moje kičme...
Veliki zupčanik, koji bi ranije uvek škljocnuo kad kazaljka naiđe na april ili oktobar, zarubio
se kao šljunak, i točkici su odjednom počeli da se vrte neočekivano lako...
Dovraga, poražavajuće lako...
Kao na glupom okruglom časovniku u holu železničke stanice koji melje rezignirano, kao
dolap, nemajući pojma o tome da li je napolju upravo sumrak, susnežica, oktobar ili eventualno
ponedeljak...

Violinery! And other things, which I no longer remember. Probably tidying? Yes.
Looking through the window and door from an old Farina home in South Australia's outback.
Just wanted to focus on the window view, but lost the quality.
It is a very grey day out with rain coming and going at irregular intervals and I am not feeling terribly motivated to get outside myself though that will likely change as the hours advance. Instead, I find myself playing with my camera and surfing the 'net.
One of the images I have produced is this shot of the Celtic Cross I keep in one of my windows. It sits next to some old jars filled with marbles and sea shells, small things perhaps, but items that remind one of youth and joy.
This is an HDR image produced by shooting five RAW images covering a 4 f-stop range with the Olympus E-30 mounted on a tripod. I processed the seperate images into a single HDR using Oloneo PhotoEngine. Exported the result as a Tiff and then aplied some final tweaks and converted to a jpeg with ACDSee Pro 5.
