Magda looks out across Scarborough's North Bay as evening draws in on an overcast day.
Scarborough has a population of around 50,000 and is the largest holiday resort on the Yorkshire coast. Traditional economies of fishing and tourism are now being supplemented by a growing creative and digital industry.
In 2009 Scarborough won the award for the most creative and inspiring entrepreneurship initiative in Europe, following on from winning the most enterprising town in Britain in 2008.
But the reason we like to visit is the sheer variety, from seaside attractions to calm sea views like this one where your soul gets a chance to recharge.
I kept the tones and colours fairly muted and atmospheric to convey quietness and calm.

TRUE BLOOD TONIGHT!
"Actual happiness always looks pretty squalid in comparison with the overcompensation for misery. And, of course, stability isn't nearly so spectacular as instability. And being comtented has none of the glamour of a good fight against misfortune, none of the picturesqueness of a struggle with temtation, or a fatal overthrow by passion or doubt. Happiness is never grand." -Aldous Huxley, Brave New World
