Looking out of the school-room window at the Goulburn Brewery. I love the green light.

This is the Goulburn Brewery, Australias' oldest still-functioning (though on a much smaller scale than originally) brewery.

He was an amazing architect, and from what I can tell, a mathematical genius. He used a lot of the ratios that can be found in the pyramids & Egyptian art in his designs.

..... if a little hope is given

Here is my baby boy, Tommy. This was taken at the Pittsburgh Zoo over the weekend. We had such a great time. I wish we could have stayed longer but the short time we were there we had managed to cram a lot in. The visit felt a lot longer.

Looking through the window and door from an old Farina home in South Australia's outback.

This shot was a bit wonky so I've straightened it up in the next post.

She is waiting for the storm to end so she can go outside....

Just a boy looking outside on a boring sunday when his parents where probably still asleep....

The view is beautiful as this boys lives opposite the "Sonsbeek Park" in Arnhem. It's one of most wonderful parks in this area.

A view over a small lake from one of my favourite walking trails near Whitehorse in Canada's Yukon. The sun was just about to dip behind the hills leaving long shadows and a beautiful light across the landscape.

No comment on the processing. I killed it, I know.

*low rumble steadily building in TR's head*

Taken in 2005, on a family trip to the great U S of A. Believe it or not this was on the side of a freeway, with a busy railway track just down the hill shes standing on. Always thought that made it a better photo.

For sophie :)

Jade, Bruce, Iris, and Jet follow me with curiosity as I walk just outside the house.

Our new pet, a local street kitten, loves to watch the birds on our apartment terrace while seated precariously on the wooden frame of the screen door (in a section where the wire-netting is torn) while balancing herself with one of her front paws on the frame of the adjacent glass door. In the shot below she turns as I call out her name.

About to get all of his hair chopped off.

This is what I saw out my window this morning. It was an icy world. The power was out, and my van was stuck inside the garage (automatic doors). I heard branches breaking at 3 AM. There are huge one in my yard. It looked like a fantasy land. I am grateful that there was no damage done to the house, and we are safe and sound. I am grateful that I got a glimpse of this magical world of ice.

The bus was working the 12 service towards Dulwich Library.

I didn't think this was going to turn out, and then it did. Problem with shooting outside at high sun and no fill flash? Bad shadows. But I made it work and I like how this turned out in the end.

I really like the unreal quality of this, looks like a screen (rather than the window that Rob's really shooting from). I think there must be some sort of polarising effect in the glass.

...I'm really not entirely sure I can explain this.
