I picked up Tommy from the vet. He cried the whole way home and then cried in the bathroom when I was going to keep him locked in there. I decided to move him to the bedroom though. Wine night at Lindsays and we all wound up sitting inside. Everyone in the group has been vaccinated, but it still felt super weird to be inside with my friends.

Cornwall, Vermont USA • Here's the first wet snow of the season, seen from inside the Emerald Gypsy.
The Emerald Gypsy (eGypsy) is a 1949 Ford F-5 Wayne shortbody schoolbus, motorhome conversion. It first served as a rural elementary schoolbus in Hemet, California. In the early 1960's it had its first conversion to a motorhome.
I bought it on eBay in May, 2007. It was my home • office • studio until August 2009. It is currently parked in Cornwall, Vermont USA.
For Sale, Where Is / As Is: 2015. (New Zealanders, I'm talking to YOU!) – Make me an offer.
Alot more squished on the way home in the CRJ-200 vs the CRJ-705 I had on the way down.. a bit disappointing and yes my neck was sore at the end of the flight from bending over to look out of the window. Not a bad plane or anything but there are other's I'd prefer to fly in.
The morning I spent in Ngorongoro Crater was one of the highlights of my 9 day safari with Fed Tours and Safaris. Our time with the Lions and the proximity was spectacular. The overall vibe and unique experience of being inside the crater also makes for a truly wondrous experience.

Katrina and Monte looking out into the back yard where the squirrels play. This is at the sliding glass door onto the porch. Here the porch boards look like Venetian blinds at the window, but it's an illusion...

“There were once two sisters
who were not afriad of the dark
because the dark was full of the other's voice
across the room,
because even when the night was thick
and starless
they walked home together from the river
seeing who could last the longest
without turning on her flashlight,
not afraid
because sometimes in the pitch of night
they'd lie on their backs
in the middle of the path
and look up until the stars came back
and when they did,
they'd reach their arms up to touch them
and did.”

So the weather forecasters said it would snow today, and they were correct!
Woke up at 7am and looked outside and there was some snow flitting around in the wind but nothing had settled. Looked out of the window again at 8am and the scenery had changed...snow everywhere! This photo was taken shortly before 10am and its still coming down with no sign of it stopping anytime soon!
Fortunately I'm working from home today and took this photos whilst sat in the 'study' beavering away...well, kind of beavering away ;-)
Photo was taken on my iPhone and processed using Snapseed.
